Great Experience

I was leaving a domestic violence relationship and had to get my things out quick and fast. They guys were scheduled to arrive at 10:00 am, they showed up at 9:30 am which was great because the early start meant that I could get more of my things before my abuser returned. They wrapped and secured my items on the truck and off we went. Eddie and Albert were amazing. I normally don't write reviews but after the horrible review that Pete the Lawyer or LIE-awyer as I like to call them left, I felt the need to do so. All the staff members were great and supportive, everyone from the office staff to the movers. Nobody likes to move no matter what the case however don't let reviews full you, THIS COMPANY IS GREAT!! I'm a DV Survivor and I approve this message

Horrible

I hired these clowns based on their fairly reasonable rates and close proximity to my residence. What a mistake. It was a pretty standard job: two couches, a coffee table, bedroom furniture, a television, and some boxed up personal belongings. When the movers arrived, the very first thing that I said to them was that they would need to remove the legs from the couches, because the couches were otherwise too wide to fit through my front door. They didn’t listen. They forced the leather couches through the doorway with the legs intact, causing the leather on both couches to rip in several places. To make matters worse, they didn’t secure any of the furniture that they threw into their truck, which resulted in a number of scratches and chips in my coffee table. The movers had provided me with a Customer Agreement which states that the company would “take responsibility for any damaged property caused by our movers if customers report such damages to our office in writing within 24 hours of the incident,” so I immediately emailed management to report the damage. Although I was initially assured that I would be reimbursed for the damaged items, my follow-up calls and emails went unanswered. So I sued the company (I’m a lawyer). On the day of the court hearing, the company didn’t even bother to show up. I therefore received a default judgment in my favor for right under $2,000. The judgment was entered on September 29, 2015. As of today, nearly 10 months later, the company has not paid me a cent. I finally got around to filing a Writ of Execution, which is a court order directing the Sheriff to seize the company’s assets and sell them at an auction in order to satisfy the judgment. So I’m confident that I’ll get my money eventually, but the headache that this whole process has caused me makes it almost not even worth it. The worst part is that if I wasn’t a lawyer, I would have had to pay an attorney more than the $2,000 in damage to deal with this hassle for me, so I would have been totally screwed. If you don’t want to end up in my situation, don’t be fooled by Big Brother Little Brother’s “guarantees” and low prices. Pay a little more money to hire an honest company that takes accountability for its actions. You’ll be happy you did. For anyone interested, the Philadelphia Municipal Court docket number is SC-15-08-07-3713.

The best movers ever

I moved millions of times because of the nature of my work and these guys were the best. The office person, Chris, was wonderful and insightful. The movers, Blaine (I can't remember the other guy name) were the most respectful and friendly movers yet. I recommend them for anyone.

Six hours late.

I was quoted that the time for arrival would be between 2 and 4 pm. I received a call at 1pm asking if they could come now. Of course I said yes. I then got phone calls for the next 9 hours about why they are late. They arrived at 10pm and finished at 1:15 am. Then tried to charge me full price. I was also told there would be 3 movers because they were running late and only two showed up. They took over 3 hours when it only took 2 hours to move into the apt I was moving out of. VERY POOR Service.
