Cheney Bro Worldwide Moving has held my belongings hostage, Picked up 12/14/2020 to be delivered by 12/30/2020. It is now 02/09/2022 I still don't have my belongings. I have gone back and forth with Shai and Ean from this company for over a year with no resolution. Now they have just completely ignored my calls and e mails. I've filed complaints with the BBB,FMCSA,and the Florida Attorney Generals Office. Do not use this moving company.

Worst movers

Hired this company to move my home goods from ct to Florida. Gave me one price and on moving date surprise with different price. After almost 2 months on delivery date my stuff were delivered. Almost all of them scratch and broken, my tv 55 inches completely shattered. Bed furniture crack and broken pieces, i would not recommend this company so please dont do it if you read this review.

Dishonest and Fraudulent

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This company currently has all our of furniture being held hostage. They picked up our furniture on 7/16/2021 with the first delivery date on 7/19/2021. It is now 25 business days (32 days total) after the first available delivery date and the company has refused to provide any update on the location or estimated delivery date. When they do pick up the phone, it is a customer service representative (Lorraine) who does not provide any information - she says that one of the other employees (Sergio or Gary) will call back, but they never do. I have filed complaints with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), filed complaints with the state attorneys general in Florida and North Carolina, and have sent several delivery demand letters and emails, including one forthcoming from an attorney. None of these steps has helped to find out any more information about my belongings. Next week (at 30 business days), I will file police reports for stolen property in both Florida and North Carolina since the company has shown no good faith steps toward delivering my belongings. I have all of my furniture, clothes, and belongings that were picked up and may be gone forever. They are dishonest, deceitful and should not be allowed to operate.

Guys were in good mood

The team was friendly, on time and in a GOOD MOOD despite all the heavy lifting. The team wrapped all my furniture and padded things. If they disassembled stuff, they ensured that they taped the hardware to the back of the item and even wrote a note on the outside of the wrapping to indicate that it was inside.

The truck was packed with an expert eye

They went above and beyond in helping with our move.They were TRUE PROFESSIONAL who will do whatever it takes to make the move happen. The truck was packed with an expert eye and everything arrived in excellent condition.

Very meticulous

The gentleman I coordinated with was wonderful. They were thoughtful, kind and meticulous. I am so glad we used them. I felt they went above and beyond.

Everyone showed up in a mask

Great movers. Everyone showed up in a mask. PROMPT COMMUNICATION throughout the experience. They were very professional and I would hire them again.

Patiently wrap all my furniture

They were quick handling my pre-packed boxes and TOOK GOOD CARE to dismantle and patiently wrap all my furniture. They were quite friendly and helpful. Took about 4 hours in all for a 25-mile move of a 1-bed apartment. Highly recommend!

Very well coordinated

They did an AMAZING JOB with our move today. They were able to fit our move in even though we only gave them a few days notice. We coordinated with them to move our items into a storage and they also hauled items we wanted to dispose of for a small additional fee.

Gave me a ride to my new place

These guys did an excellent move for us from FL to NYC this monday! They were careful with our goods especially fragile items, yet quick and efficient, and didn't stop to take a break for the full four hours. Great moving experience from start to end. Highly recommended.

SIMPLE and EASY

Everyone hates moving, but these guys made it SIMPLE and EASY and with humor. The guys were quick and helped me out when I needed to put some extra items that I couldn't pack in time or had boxes for, They had the wardrobe boxes for free and there were no hidden costs in my final bill. Highly recommended.

Fast while taking great care

Excellent experience at very reasonable price. I couldn't be happier and would suggest these guys to all my friends who had to move. They were on time, professional and didn't have to PAY EXTRA FEES for packing TVs or lose items I had in my apartment. I'm not looking forward to moving again, but if I had to, knowing that they will help me, makes it less of a stress. A+++

These movers are simply.....THE BEST. They came highly suggested to us by my best friend who had just now used them. Their officer arrived and gave us a very competitive estimate and we accepted. On moving day they came when they said they would and had us packed in a just a few hours. All the moving crew were polite, careful, and helped us keep a POSITIVE ATTITUDE during the stress of moving our household. Highly recommended.

NEVER, EVER, CONSIDER USING CHENEY ...

NEVER, EVER, CONSIDER USING CHENEY BROS. MOVING AND STORAGE! When Chris called we were happy. He said he had a truck going to Illinois and if we could work on his time line he would give us a great deal. “WRONG”. When the time came to move us they flew a driver in from Fort Lauderdale and he rented a truck in Illinois. The move was set for the 26th of April. They called us that day to tell us the driver was delayed and would be there Tuesday. He finally showed up at 1:00 p.m. ALONE! It took him 2 days to load up. Luckily he had one helper on the second day or who knows how long it would have taken. Next, I had given them the dimensions of our 2 storage units to move. His estimate was $5,389.00. Then, when our units were loaded the driver informed us that we were 700 cubic feet over the estimate. I checked his math and saw that the estimate only included one unit. THE ESTIMATE NEVER INCLUDED THE SECOND UNIT! With all our worldly goods in his truck he told us it would cost an extra $2,740. When we called to complain their customer assistance person Lorraine M., who may very well be a nice person, was totally powerless to help when it came to customer assistance, directed my call to some woman named Shai. If you are talking to her your call is over. She the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. I will restrain myself from describing her as I would like. She simply informed me we had 2 choices. We pay the money or she would have the driver dump our possessions. She allowed for no discussion, it was her way or the highway. As tempted has I was to have them dump our stuff, we needed to get home. So we paid. Lorraine M. Then told us to tell the driver when to do the drop off. That it was up to us. “NOPE, WRONG AGAIN.” On our way home to North Carolina we stopped at a hotel for the night. Shai calls us at a quarter to 10 “AT NIGHT”, to tell us our furniture would be delivered at 8 a.m. I told her we had already discussed a delivery time with Lorraine and the driver and we could not be there by 8 a.m. She could not have cared less. Even though we had waited patiently for 3 DAYS for them to load our stuff, she informed us that if we were not there on time, she would charge us $175 an hour until we got there. Even though their advertising says they will store your stuff for free for up to 30 days. Once again, totally unprofessional. Several times we tried to call Chris, the original sales guy we talked to, but he never answered and his phone would take no messages. The whole experience with Cheney Bros. Moving and Storage was stressful and maddening and I would NEVER, EVER, have considered these people had I known. Avoid this company at all costs. Remember them and tell all your friends and family to avoid them. They really do not deserve to be in business.

Squeeze me in for a next day

Great experience with Cheney Bro Worldwide Moving ! Going through a rough time and they were able to squeeze me in for a next day move. They arrived in the window given and were SUPER PROFESSIONALS + COURTEOUS with my furniture. Will totally recommend them!!

Squeezed me in last minute

Moved this previous end of the week and utilizing a mover interestingly. I wasn't sure what to expect, however they were marvelous. They were friendly, proficient, and effective. I had some furniture that required dismantling and reassembly and sincerely I think they set up my bed back better better than I assembled it in the first place!! Would highly recommend them.

No scratches on the divider

Loved this group of movers and every one of them appeared in masks. Didn't get COVID so that was a huge help since we moved in this month when it was all exceptionally unknown. Not all that much, the guys we're all quite, no scratches on the divider. The most awesome thing... they were so speedy and hands down the best cost!!! Couldn't suggest more!

Working quality was top notch

The booking process was very easy and they also sent me a confirmation email two days before the moving. The pricing was affordable compared to a couple of quotes I got from other movers. The movers came on time, moved all furniture, boxes, and other stuff PROFESSIONALLY and EFFICIENTLY. Their working quality was top notch. Whole moving was done within 3 hours including double driving time. If I move again next time, I'd use the same company.

My move went great from FL to CA

I am so happy that I chose Cheney Bro Worldwide Moving for my move from FL to CA. They did a wonderful job quickly clearing my old apartment and bringing everything up to the new apartment in under estimated time! They are clearly VERY PROFESSIONAL and EXPERIENCED, but also incredibly nice guys! The entire company staff was great, I was notified of the expected arrival time, which was also confirmed beforehand with a call from them, and the prices were same as quoted. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to every one!

UTILIZE THEM AGAIN !!!!

These guys were great for my move this past Monday! They originally came recommended to me by 2 other friends who highly recommended Cheney Bro Worldwide Moving, and I'll be advising every one of my companions to UTILIZE THEM AGAIN later on. I had a living room and 1 bedroom full of furniture and boxes that they were able to pack up, transport and unload in about 1 hr 45 min. They were super friendly, helpful and even offered to help me put back some furniture together at the new place. I thought their prices were super reasonable.

NIGHTMARE

This has to be the biggest sham of a company if there ever were. The customer service, especially Shai, is full of it! If you call you will get thrown to voice mail and they do not return calls or communicate at all. They will low ball the estimate, upcharge at every turn and your stuff will come late and damaged! This company is terrible, not professional and needs to shut down! They do not even give you any paperwork. I will tell anyone who listens to spread the word on how HORRIBLE this company is! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Relieved my stress!!

They took good care of my move and relieved my stress! They were very professional, efficient, and goes out of his way for SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not only did they move items into my storage unit and also ORGANIZED it! They not only moved my big tv, but they helped set it up in my new location. I didn't have to worry about how my furniture would hold up during the move because he wrapped them all for protection. I would use them again.

Cheney Bro Worldwide Moving is very courteous ,reliable and easy to work with. They did an excellent job with NO ISSUES. When they came to deliver the items, the guys that convey were great. We cannot say anything negative; it is so great to experience this fantastic of customer service. I highly recommend these guys! Big or small, they will not disappoint you.

Very punctual!!!

Best movers I have ever experienced in last 6 years! They were very punctual, fast and kept me updated throughout the whole process. They were able to move my 2 bedrooms apartment within 6 hours , which got 2 elevators and a long walk . They were absolutely professional and careful They did an EXCELLENT JOB. I highly recommend them.

NO STRESS!!!

They were super easy to work with. They gave me quote over the phone. It appeared FAIR and REASONABLE. We exchanged a tiny bit of paperwork, and two weeks later the movers showed up exactly on time. They were fast, efficient, friendly, they just knew how to move my stuff. They blanketed and wrapped all of my furniture and took good care not to damage my belongings. Easy to work with, fair pricing, good service. NO STRESS!!!

Well prepared and well trained!!!

Last week my friend moved from FL to NYC. I had always done the moving myself, but, this guy had a ton of stuff. His parents couldn't make it in, and my parents were busy. Against my will, we had to hire a company. I looked online and spoke to a couple of friends and eventually came across Cheney Bro Worldwide Moving. All I could say is EXCELLENT. These guys arrived on time, prepared, and well trained. I was anxious about them breaking my friends bed, but these movers were extra cautious. These guys were real movers. They were also friendly, something I did not expect. The price paid was reasonable for this kind of moving service. I would highly recommend this company.

NO HASSLES WHATSOEVER!

Absolutely amazing! If I could give them more than five stars I would. The movers were quick, reliable, efficient, accommodating and very helpful. They were able to dismantle the bed and table and put it back together without a problem! They had all the supplies necessary to take care of everything. NO HASSLES WHATSOEVER! I will definitely use them again for my next move!

VERY DETAIL ORIENTED!!!

The crew were great! They showed up on time and were VERY DETAIL ORIENTED. They consistently asked questions to make sure things were wrapped, packed to my satisfaction, pointed out any signs of prior damage, which made for a SUPER SMOOTH PROCESS. On top of that they were very nice and overall pleasant to work with!!

They took very good care!

They were very polite, clean and professional. They took VERY GOOD CARE of all of my expensive and heavy furniture and even took my king size bed frame apart and put it all back together in the new place. That was not an easy task but they had the RIGHT TOOLS to get the job done right. I would highly recommend them to anyone for their next move.

Awesome job guys! Highly professional movers! They arrived right on time and are very efficient and professionals!! I had a house full of furniture moved from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Dallas, TX and I was very happy with their service. I've used many different movers but this one is by far the BEST!
