Outstanding job

We recently had Dmv moving move our 2 bedroom apartment. It was a very pleasant experience from the beginning. Our sales representative was very helpful and knowledgeable. Then on move day the moving team was excellent. They worked very hard in the rain pay conditions without missing a beat. I would not only use them again but I would recommend them to anyone looking for a positive experience. Thanks again!

The movers were rude and they tried to ...

They quoted me a price ... When I got there the movers were rude, they started quoting me right off the back ... Two hours more, more money ... They tried to hide the fact that they had other people's furniture in the truck.

The overall experience was good.

It was the worst move ever!

I was told for a 1500 estimate that I would get 4 movers and two trucks but, only one truck showed up with 3 guys that moved really slow as I was being charged by the hour. They charged me an additional 160.00 for tape. I had to pay another moving company 400 to move the rest of my things they could not get on one truck. Make sure you get a flat fee if you take a chance with this moving company. My experience was horrible to say the least.

Most unprofessional company ever. BBB ...

I contracted this company via email. Ben from DMV called me and we had made an arrangement for 3 guys at 8 hrs was to be 1300 with full packaging service. The apartment i lived in was a little over 1000 sq ft, so i imaged it would take maybe 6 hours at the most. The movers arrived at 8am and while 1 of the movers was rather productive the other 2 spent most of the morning on their cell phones and primarily stayed in the kitchen. WHile i did not even have many dishes or even much of a kitchen, but 2 movers over 3 hrs packing my kitchen? Durning the packing of my kitchen one of the movers climbed onto the granite counter top to grab the plates displayed above the cabinets. The mover broke the granite and separated the granite from the wall. At no time did the mover mention what he had done. Instead played it off hoping i would not notice it. When i went over to the counter to pick up some food left on the counter after he jumped off my counter tops i immediately got angry with the worker for climbing onto the counter top and not even one mention of what he had done. (Such dishonesty) Neither of the 2 mover spoke any english and the other was limited, so i called the owner Oscar and informed him of what damage had been done. LAter in the evening and at approx 10 pm or so I asked the to please hurry up as they moved with no sense of urgency and were taking their sweet time. One of the movers kept saying something to me in spainish and would glare at me throughout the entire time making me very uncomfortable. WHile i did not know what he was saying it made me feel very uncomfortable. WHile at the unit another tenet came to check on his belongings and came over to my unit to have friendly chat. I told him my displeasure in the movers work ethic and he asked if i wanted to tell them anything and that he would translate. I told him to please ask them to hurry as it had already been over 14 hrs. He translated this to the movers and one mover stated that if i didn't like it they would leave. The mover who kept glaring at me and was calling me names in spainish and the guy was telling me everything he would say. The movers name was orlando. The other tenet actually feared for me and stayed at the unit until the moved completed. I then contacted the owner Oscar and informed him of this movers behavior and was informed he would discuss it with him. It took the mover a total of 17 hrs to move me out of my 2 bedroom apt and to move items from another unit i had. 8am 1 am. Seriously? Fast forward a month later. All emails have been going unanswered in regards to the claim that was submitted. So far i have sent 3 emails and followed with a phone call and I have not received any response. I hope i will not be having to take legal action, but will if necessary. I also intended to contact the BBB and file a complaint. They already have an F rating with the BBB. I just wish I had looked at their reviews before hiring them. I would stay clear of this company fo

The charged me an exhorbitant amount ...

Horrible. [They] damaged items that were not replaced or repaired ... They had given me one quote and it ended up being exorbitantly higher ... Took longer than what was expected. They had said that they would be able to move a specific item which was very heavy ... When the movers came that day they said they weren't prepared to move that item, they didn't have the equipment to move it and they refused to move it.

Overall it was very good. The three people showed up, they were quick, they were fast, they were efficient. I would say the entire move was solid except for the fact I had been quoted based on an inventory I had submitted and in that was a curio cabinet. Well, when the movers got there they said it was gonna cost an extra $50 for the curio cabinet. All they did was put two boxes and blankets around it. So I was very unhappy about that. But what was more disturbing is that when I sent two emails to the company again to complain, they were never acknowledged.

They were good, they were professional. Everything was great. ...They were very inexpensive and a lot cheaper than the other companies.

They were very professional and speedy and the guys were very nice and professional. They didn't hit any walls. Very strong ... Everything was good.

They were very inexpensive compared to other companies, they were fairly professional ... The movers seemed to work really hard, they kept on working and I was impressed.

Company was very shady.

That company was very shady. They quoted me a price and when they got there it was something completely different. ... That particular company was horrible.

I don't have any complaints.

It was fine, they weren't slow or anything like that, I don't have any complaints on the service.

I had to pay double so they would give ...

The crew was fine ... [But management] underbid and my pricing came out to be twice as high. And then they held my furniture hostage until I paid ... Before they took it off the truck. And that was only half of the move .... After charging double I then had to pay another $300 for the balance of the move. There seems to be a real disconnect between the management team and the movers.

Use this company!

I definitely advise any other customer to use this company! They are very cooperative.

The move took a little longer, but ...

It was pretty good. They packed up everything nice and neatly. It just took a little longer than I expected. Originally we estimated it'd be a five hour move and it ended up being a lot longer than that. And the price was a little higher than what I was anticipating.

They were some small problems, but ...

They showed up late, and I mean, they moved most of my stuff. There was a package that was forgotten on the truck and it took me about a week and a half to get that package back because no one seemed to be answering the phone. But other than that, they moved quickly [and] they got all my stuff in in the rain, which was really good.

Horrible movers!! Dishonest about cost ...

This company moved my office (well part of it) yesterday and it was a nightmare. The company sent 3 very small fellas who could not lift anything of any weight at all. They wrapped nothing even thought they had numerous blankets on truck but they wanted to saran wrap in lieu of blankets so they could up charge me. Broke my copier, my tables, my couch was filthy, and then they were too tired to finish the job!

Disappointed

Excellent customer service to get your business. However, on the day of the move, you'll get a moving truck that shows up three hours late occupied by several movers who show no remorse and provides no explanation for being late, coupled with management with the same I don't care attitude. They just want to get your money, but not put in the work and professionalism to maintain repeat customers and referrals. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this company.

Terrible Experience!!

DMV Moving- Do NOT go with this company!!! They promised to assume liability and wrap "2 free glass items" as part of the deal they were promising us. They did a very poor job of wrapping our big screen TV, resulting in it breaking completey. I called this company for days and no one would put me through to a manager. Finally we disputed this charge with our credit card for this lack of response. They then wrote in a letter claiming complete lies, that we were the ones being unresponsive when we sent in everything that was asked of us. We won the dispute with the credit card company, and then they charged us AGAIN, against our consent, and are now being investigated by VISA. Do not trust these criminals!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

First, the person in charge did not even speak English. They sent movers that appeared to be under the age of 18, one even admitted he was still in high school. Since they charge for packing tape, they made sure that everything was EXCESSIVELY taped. Several items were broken, and even missing!!!! They did not send enough movers, which is why it took them so long. They even delivered items that were not mine. They handled fragile items (china) as if they were not fragile. I had to point out the the box contained china (even though the box was clearly labeled). STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

They were good but we can't get in ...

They were good. They gave us a price range, they were fast, they were on time. But that was the only thing.. and we can't get in contact with them. Every time we leave messages with them they don't call back.

Polite, but gave misinformation and ...

Well, the crew was polite, however, I don't think that they were very efficient, it was three movers. And the pricing was actually provided to me with false information and I believe that was done purposefully because I asked specific questions about the time, the duration, the total amount due, and all of that. And my move ended up being $200 more than I was quoted. My bed frame was broken. My bed was not put together properly, and with that being the case... one of the slats is broken. I had that bed for two years with no problem and since the move, it was put together poorly and is not stable, and it's broken.

Just a mess. A bad experience.

They doubled the price of the quote. Just a mess. These guys came in, it was about maybe five to... a seven mile move from one house to the other. They came in at 9:00 that morning, two trucks, four people. The move ended at 2:00 the next morning. With that, charging me, doubling the quote almost from $1,600 to... $2,700...They should have let me know at some point that, "Look, we can't do if for $1,600." No one from the office called... No one came out to look. I had asked them to come out and survey. And the guy on the phone, the one I set it up with... he was not even made aware of it until I called back the next day. So it's just a bad experience. I'm a soldier, I've been around for 33 years. I've moved all over the country, all over the world, quite frankly...that's the worst experience I had. Nothing on the workers... but if it was going to exceed that amount by that much, I should have been alerted earlier. They broke some expensive stands that I got out of Italy... I called the company... this is three weeks ago, I've yet to get a claim sheet... So I stopped payment, it's in dispute now with American Express. So I guess I get a claim sheet now... and I told them I was going to do that, that I was going to put this in dispute. And I'm also going to go online and every soldier, sailor, every marine, I'm telling you, I'm going to steer away every military person that I know away from that company... Just by my rank alone and stating that I've been traveling all around the world. And let them know the military needs to stay away from these guys. I'm not going to have soldiers deal with these guys.

The movers took so many breaks our ...

It went over by a half an hour, we weren't expecting that. They didn't break anything ... Overall, just, if they didn't take so many breaks we wouldn't have gone over.

The movers were excellent. They even ...

On the day that we moved in, our cat got lost and they even helped us try to look for our cat. And they moved everything in and we were so concerned about the cat I couldn't even - I didn't have the peace of mind to tell them, you know, where it's supposed to go and they put everything where it's supposed to be.

They went the extra mile to reassemble ...

They were on time and they were prompt. They were very professional. And they went the extra mile to reassemble some furniture.

Everything was great except the ...

The moving company did a great job, they really did. They were very professional and very careful and did it in a very timely manner. I was happy with that. What I was not happy with was I signed a contract with them for a certain amount of money and when it came time to pay it was around $300 more than what the contract was. They added in for travel. But as far as what they did, I was happy with what they did. They just have to be a little bit more careful when they give someone an estimate.

Not all of my stuff was delivered and ...

It did not go as expected. They thought the move was going to take about 8 hours, they called and said they were going to have to move until 3 o'clock in the morning and of course the price increased substantially. And all of my property as not delivered. I had two brand new rugs and only one of them got delivered. They claim they don't know what happened to the rug, they never saw it even though they were both side by side and the other house was empty.

Very polite and professional

The move went excellent. It went smooth the guys were very professional. They wrapped and did what they needed to do, they were in and out. They wrapped the dressers, mirrors, and TVs. The movers were excellent, very polite and professional.

They finished the job on time.

They were fine. All the guys came on time. They finished the job on time. I liked that part most. I'm a very time oriented person. They finished everything within a time period so I liked it. So, I would recommend them.

OK, not great.

It was OK, not great. It cost twice as much and took twice as long as originally estimated. The movers arrived at 11 they packed my stuff and they took a half hour plus lunch and I think they charged that time to me. So it was OK not great.

It's not a company that I would call ...

It was terrible. I need to call them back because they put some holes and marks on our walls going up the stairs that I'm not happy with. We had set up a time, I had a window of 6 hours and 3 guys. They got there and it took them 9 hours, I had to pay over a thousand. They put the bed together and the dresser, but as far as our clothes and bags they left them in the living room. It's not a company that I would call back to do anything or recommend.

Very professional, very respectful, ...

They were prompt, very professional. I did have to use them to move some stuff to my storage facility, and they didn't have any problems with that. I mean, from the person that called with the quotes to the actual crew that came and moved: very professional, very respectful and polite; they did an awesome job.
