I recently moved from Chicago to the suburbs and had a great experience with Elite Moving. They were prompt,professional,reasonable,responsible at all stages of the process. Three guys showed up on time as promised and they were more than ready to work. The movers were nice,professional and super efficient. They took really good care of our stuff. All of our belongings were packed properly and fragile pieces like mirrors and glass tops were wrapped with more care. Every time I called the office before my move to make minor changes,they were very friendly and professional. I am so pleased with Elite Moving every step of the way in pricing and service!

Seamless move

This was probably the best move I’ve ever had, despite the weather. I chose Elite Moving based on their positive reviews, and can say they lived up to their rating. The hard working team of movers lead by Miguel, were fast, thorough, and polite. They cleared out our house in 3 hours, and offloaded at our new place the same way. We moved in April and the weather was a real challenge (heavy rain and snow). They were careful and speedy and nothing was damaged. The crew worked well together and knew what they all were doing. Thank you Elite for making our move seamless.

Happy moving day

This is the first time I've ever moved. I read reviews online for multiple companies and I decided to use Elite Moving. Quick easy move. We had 4 movers that showed up earlier than expected and they were very quick, efficient, and friendly. While I had most of my furniture wrapped, I needed some more items wrapped. Every furniture item that was not wrapped, they made sure to wrap with blankets before it got on the truck. All furniture looked perfect with no damage on arrival. Also it was really easy to make a reservation and to get a time that worked for us. The pricing was very fair for the level of service/quality I received. If you want a moving company to be honest and follow through, give them the job! Elite did a fabulous job moving all of our belongings with care. Highly recommended!

Great service

I'm very happy with the service and professional service provided by Elite Moving, truly a 5-star experience. I called them about three weeks before the move, and they were able to schedule it according to my schedule. They also confirmed the move over the phone and via email. They were timely and showed great care with all our furniture. They did some packing for us and their extra materials were at very reasonable cost and very useful. Boxes were packed efficiently and furniture was well wrapped.  The movers and everyone else I spoke to at Elite Moving were very nice and helpful. Their overall rates are good and competitive. I will definitely recommend this company to all my friends and family. Excellent job Elite! You guys make moving such a better experience.

Amazing! The movers were great! the estimate they gave me over the phone was accurate and the customer service super friendly and professional. The movers arrived on time to move out my 1 bedroom apartment and wrapped and packed everything so carefully. They had almost all my belongings loaded within 1 hour. Moving is usually very stressful but with Elite Moving everything was a lot easier. They were super fast and they finished everything in 4 hours. I would definitely use them for our next move and would recommend them to everyone.

DON'T

Don't even try!! It seemed like a good company at the time but it was a big mistake, a lot of the reviews are false, I moved from Chicago to Miami and they seemed really professional when I first talk to them, it was an expensive move, around $4000. They came and took all my stuff, they took forever and they charged me $700 more than the original quote. Till then, everything was ok, but once I ask them to deliver my stuff in Miami, they were very shady and flaky, they wouldn't give a real time of delivery and finally when they gave me a day, I reserved the elevator in my building, they didn't arrive on time and I lost one day at work, when they finally decided to come, it was only two guys and they left the truck outside because the driver wasn't good enough to drive it in the building service alley, so, all my stuff was left unsupervised every time they would bring a load into the apt. The outcome: two missing boxes (one with one of my paintings) lots of broken items, it seems like all the boxes were subjected to heavy abuse, and Marie Ramos (the person who I was dealing with) was rarely responsive or helpful. They had the nerve to offer me $24 for a $2000 damaged and missing objects, so, please be careful when dealing with this company. I do NOT recommend them.

Horrible experience

I don't often write reviews, but this time I'm compelled. To sum it up. I can't give 0 stars so I will settle with one star. Since I was away my wife called a few moving companies to get estimates. After reading their reviews online she decided to go with Elite Moving

There was not a major difference ...

The people who came were quite professional ... They didn't bother us a lot. Whatever was needed to be packed they packed it. ...Pretty much the estimation ... was the correct one. And there was no such major deviation found in the prices.

Good Long Distance Moving Experience

Movers Cancelled Less Than 17 hours ...

I had a reservation with Elite Moving on 7/3/2014 and had placed a $50 deposit for the reservation. I received a call from Maria of Elite Moving at 10:00am on 7/2/2014 to confirm the move. At 4 PM on the same day I received another call from Maria cancelling the move. I was scheduled to move in less than 16 hours, where was I going to get another reservation on such a short notice. I was devastated because I had sold my house and had to be out by 7/3/2014 or I would loose $1000.00. She gave me the name of a person at another moving company who was more helpful that called several moving companies but they were all reserved. I never knew a moving company could do this without proper notice of at least 24 hours. Maria of Elite moving told me she would review the contract and telephone me back, after 15 minutes I called her and she stated she was still reviewing the contract. I never received a call from her. This was the worse customer service I have ever had with a company providing a service. I will be pursuing my options if any and if there are known I will start a campaign to change the laws.

Not a good move

It was not great. Just a lot of additional fees, kind of hidden fees. And there was problems with the setting up of an accurate date, they weren't consistent. I received all the services on-time. Packing was done to my satisfaction. My advice to this moving company would be just to give all the fees up-front.

Awesome movers!

I would recommend Elite to friends. They were very professional and efficient. They moved my furniture quickly and were extra careful the entire time. The employees were hilarious,they were awesome! Keep Jimmy. Employees like him make everything work. Great job!

Professionals

Fantastic!! The movers were pros!! Professional, excellent and save movers. They were as close to perfect as can be. They were so professional the way they wrapped the appliances. The way in which they handled all of the heaviest items was nothing short of amazing, they were careful with very important items, such as antiques. Thank you Elite Moving!!

Good Move with decent price

My overall experience with Elite Moving was excellent. I would use their moving services in the future. I was moving from an apartment in Chicago and despite the 3 flat walk-up in my new place, Elite didn't scratch anything. Guys were really cool and moved quickly.

Excellent service - very happy about ...

Phenomenal, Excellent. The movers were very professional. They actually came in under the original estimate that they provided me. They just moved so quickly like I actually was packed in the truck within an hour. They were very helpful. They let me know upfront what they would be doing, how they would be doing. It was just very professional. Absolutely without any questions, I would recommend them to my friends and family who will move in the future. Yes the crew were very professional. There were few items that they had to disassemble in order to pack it. They reassembled them when they arrived at the new location. I was very happy with their service.

My moving experience was great. I am satisfied with the movers. They were on-time, nothing broke so it was great so loved it. They packed our items well. The prices were reasonable. I would recommend them to my friends and family in future. I guess all I have to say is it doesnt happen in an instant, it takes time. If they are relaxed then you are not really picky the move would go smoothly.

Prompt and effecient service

They were very good. It was excellent quality. They were on time and they were very efficient. Their estimate was two-and-half hours and it took them exactly two-and-half hours. I was very satisfied. The crew members were well behaved. They were very nice. Yes I did receive all the services that I have requested. Yes packing was done up to my satisfaction. For future customers I can say they were a pleasure to work with. I would use them again the next time I move.

Successful move

The move was successful. It was okay. They were on time. The move was okay and no complaints. I have only used one so I have nothing to compare with. They were on-time, the move went well and it was professional move. They were fine. Everything was okay. The estimate was okay.

The entire staff at Elite Moving were courteous, knowledgeable, and most importantly fair and honest about the cost of the move and time frame necessary for delivery.
