Experienced at scamming people, DONT ...

They gave me an estimate based on the stuff and cubic space i was going to use, came to my house packed half of my stuff, then said "you have much more stuff than we thought, this is going to cost you at least 3500, (they gave me an estimate of 1500 based on my stuff) i asked "why?" and the guy said "because this is much more than the cubic feet you paid for , then i told him ok then lets go measure inside the truck (i knew the guy didnt even gave me HALF of the space I PAID FOR) so he refused to let me in the truck, so i told him ok then you get in the truck and show me ,here is the measuring tape, and he obviously refused to do that too, i told him that i wouldnt pay extra until he proved me (with a simple measureing of how many feet i was using inside the truck , a 20 second process) to what he told me " me if you refuse to sign the papers im gonna have to refuse service , so i said ok then i refuse to be ripped off so thats fine give me back my stuff, so he straight up told me " if you make me unload your stuff you not only gonna loose your 500 dollar non refundable deposit, to what i replied "fine im good with that" and ALSO IM GONNA LEAVE YOUR STUFF ON THE STREET! (i was alone with my wife so i wouldnt be able to get the stuff back into my appartment by myself , so i basically was taken hostage by the moving company. Since i didnt agree with paying the 3500 they wanted me to pay they left half of my furniture in the appartment and just left with the other half leaving me with half my move inside the appartment and since i had one more day left paid for the appartment i had to leave the appartment and lose half my furniture, but i had to vacate the apartment and with the appartment, i lost half my stuff and my wife`s. Three weeks after the date of delivery and numerous calls to their office , a different driver tells me he is going to make the delivery that he was close to my new apartment but he didnt know if the truck was going to fit thru the street of my apartment complex that he checked it via (satelite pictures on google maps) , so i told this new guy ok then wait for me outside and if it doesnt fit go get the smaller truck> a day later after not answering any of my messages or callshe comes with the excuse that his truck wouldnt fit thru my street, so he would have to rent a smaller truck and charge me 450 more dollars for the process or he wouldnt give me whatever furniture of mine he had left, so i was taken hostage again. Two guys show up with a little u haul truck with half of my stuff, make me sign the 450 dollar contract and pay them with a certified bank check otherwise they would leave with my stuff and just throw it away, we pay them, they left our furniture in the garage and left with our money, upon opening the boxes and unpacking our stuff, half of our stuff was broken, chairs broken, electronics broken, table all scratched, mattress with huge stains, and two missing boxes, lost 2000 dollars and 85 percent

They were on time, very professional and respectful with our things. Highly recommend you speak with either John or George when you need to get your quote. They are very precise and make sure to dot every i and cross every t. David and his crew where equally as great at pickup and delivery. Great company overall and they really care about your stuff.

Great Company and Staff

We decided to use this company for our move because of John Chase. He was the best sales person we spoke with, he answered every question and was always available to speak with us regarding the move. The crew he sent (George, David, Amir and Jay) we just as good with helping answer questions and keeping us in the loop about what they were doing or needed to do to ensure our items were safely moved out. Highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a reliable and honest cross country mover.

Worst Transport Company

I understand that dealing with transport companies is never pleasant but 'Experienced auto transport' is the worst that I have ever dealt with. Below is my experience with them :- 1. They falsified about the DOT permit. On various websites, they claimed that they have the transport license but when I checked on DOT website it was expired. When I asked about it, they blamed it on DOT itself. 2. On the the moving day : I booked the move with my building manager for the time that they gave me. They were 6 hours late. On calling the driver and manager, they would say 15 min and I would not hear from them for 1 hour. Later, I would call again and they will say the same thing. The only thing they do professionally is 'LIES'. 3. 3 people showed up after 6 hours of wait. As one of them was packing the dresser, I asked if I could put a pillow (less than .5 lbs) in one of the drawer and he refused and told me to get another box just for a pillow. I told him to leave the dresser for now and that i will talk to his boss. He literally threw the tape on floor in anger and walked out. 4. They were 3 people but they took hours to load the furniture and could not complete the moving in allotted time because of which i had to pay extra money to buy more time. 5. After loading the goods, the guy inflated the price citing additional square footage when I asked i want to measure the square footage in . truck, he denied it. I tried to reach the manger on phone but the office was closed. 6. He then offered me if i pay them 300 dollars bribe they will lie to their manager about square footage and will give me discount. When i refused the offer they threatened to leave my goods on the road and just walk away. It was sort of blackmailing. 7. Its been total of 1.5 months and 2 week since I have notified them about my address to ship the goods and my goods are no where to be found and i have no idea when it will be delivered. Please stay away from these crooks. Sofia and Mohammed (MO) make tall promises when trying to get the booking but in actual they have no morals or ethics to run the business.

Excellent Customer Service + Very ...

My wife and I picked Experienced Transportation a few weeks ago for our move down to Johns Island. We spoke with Mike and John both who were excellent answering and addressing all our questions and concerns. They really know their stuff and just sounded different compared to all the other movers we spoke with and met with. After reading all the reviews here and on HomeAdvisor, we felt like they were the best choice for us. I can say we weren't wrong, the binding estimate was actually reduced after they finished loading and packing us up. They sent 2 trucks (no big rigs access) and 6 movers who were able to packing and load all our stuff within 15 hours total! My wife and I were in complete AWE, after seeing how hard and efficient they worked moving everything out it was just amazing sight to watch, I never would of been able to pack up my 3000 Sq Ft home in 1 day. We got our stuff within 3 days and it was just as the pickup everything was back in the house and moved in within a few hours. This company is worth every penny and they really know what they are doing. We are forever grateful to them for their amazing service. Thank you John

Amazing Company!

Experienced Transport was great from start to finish. John was our initial contact person, he was very helpful in giving us great options and tips on how to pack and prepare our boxes. The moving guys were just as great, they came out early and packed up everything and moved it all out within 8 hours. Delivery was flawless they called me a few days before to ask when was a good time to drop off and they confirmed with us about 18 hours before to delivery. They put everything back in the place we asked and reassmebled our beds and tables. Amazing company and great people to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

They were very nice at pickup and drop off. I was okay with the price difference from the quote because I added some extra boxes and packing at the time of pickup. They were great with everything I would use them again.

I recently used them to move my family out to California. They were very honest about the type of services when they gave us the pricing. Provided a binding contract with all the details in writing and made sure to include all the items and surcharges in their contracts. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for an honest mover.
