my first move hiring movers

So my final review on frontier van lines is a good one. I was extremely nervous to hire movers to move across several states. Ive always drove a haul,but my husband and I were honestly tired of doing the move ourselves. I must have called customer service a million times with in a two week period of scares and concerns I had with other moving companies reaching out to me saying lies. But they had excellent customer service and calmed my fears every time. The movers arrived at my house a day early which was confirmed which helped us get to our destination faster. They loaded everything and we didn't have to lift a finger. They assigned us US MOVERS,we had two guys show up and they wrapped my furniture really well and secure. One thing I was kinda upset about with frontier is they quote you with an unrealistic move expectation. they quoted me for 2000lbs and 20 medium boxes and I packed our living room which consisted of a couch and two recliners,our bedroom furniture which was a queen bed intables and dresser,crib and dresser and my sons full size bed. I wasn't aware that the truck is only reserved two plats which is the inside of the truck (extremely small narrow space) I really don't see how anyone could fit a 3 bedroom home in that space. So I ended up going over my space and had to pay an additional amount. Other than that our furniture arrived in 4 days and it was really quick. the movers did everything! so all in all I was really pleased with my service. I just wish they had better expectations when it comes to fitting your furniture in the truck!

Move

I used this service and two young males came to move my things. I had all my things boxed up besides my TV's and things that couldn't fit in a box, they helped break things down. But before they started, I sat down with one guy and he filled in some paper work he said I wouldn't understand it so i just sat there asking any questions i had for him. Then he asked me to sign the papers saying that it was just saying I give them permission to move my things. They began moving things out took eight hours. I gave them some things I didn't want for adding some things that were forgot about!!! Long story short when I finally got my things in Georgia i was missing 55" TV, a big box of shoes mine and my kids! A box with pictures and clothes. All because I didn't purchase their high insurance. I couldn't get all my things back or even the worth for my items!!! Very sad I trusted this company to store my things in their storage and to deliver across states and they take from me after I paid nearly four stacks for services!!!! Don't use them!!!

It was all good.

It was good. No problems. They showed up when they said they were going to and they delivered to my destination on the same day. None of my things were damaged so it was all good.

They charged almost $1000 over the ...

Well, when I received my quote I told them I thought I had around 50 boxes. So they quoted me around $3,100 something like that. As it got closer I realized that I was going to have more boxes, so I gave them the exact number of boxes. to 84. So that increased to which I understand to $3,400. By this point I already had the paperwork, and gotten a loan, I had to take out a loan to pay them because they wouldn't accept credit cards or anything towards the end. I had to get cashier's check or money order. So then they show up and they're loading up and the head guy was figuring out the prices for everything. He charged me over what my estimate was over $900. Because he said it was because of cubic feet. By that time I'm not in a position to pay that, which I basically couldn't. I had to go into the last of my savings and basically drain my savings. If it had been two or three hundred over I wouldn't have said anything, but $900, almost $1000 over what they quoted is outrageous. That's the biggest complaint I have about that company. I had a few things broken some glasses, things like that, but overall they did a good job.

Overall it was okay with a few damages.

Overall it was okay. The move in itself was okay, it wasn't too expensive. But there were a few items that were damaged. They asked us to file a claim with a website. We tried it but we haven't heard back so that we aren't really happy with. Apart from that it was okay.

Keep lookinbg... This company is a scam

Absolutely Horrible!!!! They told me that they would never work with me as a customer... How? What did I do? You guys showed up late (6.5 hours) you guys offered a 12% discount, that you took back. Your company added on $1200+ to my total after you reassured me beforehand there wouldn't be any additional fees. After your contractor, Lizette, had an attitude with me, after telling me all day she was on her way, but showed up at 6:30p!!!! OMG!!!! Please go with a more reputable company. This company is a joke, and the customer service is the worst!!!!

Very bad experience with no customer ...

I had a really bad experience with that. So when I booked it everything was fine. The person who assisted with booking the reservation was perfectly fine. But then I scheduled it for two days i think, and they did not show up ever so I had to call the company and get the driver's number and call the driver personally and then they showed up the day afterward with no excuse or anything. And then it took more than a month to get home over here, my stuff. I was trying to call and get an update but they never knew anything. they promised they would call, they never called. they told me that in order to get my stuff i would need to sign a form, but they never sent it. And then I called back and they never sent it. The process took longer and they didn't pay attention or anything. Once they came it was only one person that brought the things and he didn't even have my address. I had to contact him personally, give him my address and he didn't know anything that was going on with the moving company. He didn't know the price, he didn't know anything. It was just not good. It took more than a month and a week top get my stuff so it was not a good experience.

Pathetic Customer Service and Super ...

I give this Movers -20/10. Super Cheating, No professionalism and no bottom line responsibility in delivering customer goods. Doesn't give the proper bill for the fright they charge. This company initially quoted me of $1500/- and said even if I have additional stuff they won't charge any extra dollars and take it with the same quote + match the quotes of other Movers. But in reality these movers won't stick to their promises. While getting your business every sales person / customer care would call 10 times a day. But once your good are picked up, they never update you anything. You need to call and trace your goods. I had to call 10 times to get the status of my goods. After close to a month they sent one of their counterparts in Seattle, WA to deliver my stuff thru a shuttle and asked me to pay additional $400/- dollars. I agreed to pay this so they could at least deliver my stuff. When the driver came to deliver my stuff, he was sounding like in a extreme hurry he did not even tally the goods per the inventory list (the original inventory list is still with me. He did not even take it :) ) However he took all the balance money and took my signature before even unloading a single piece from his vehicle. He delivered only 70% of goods in broken conditions and 30% still yet to arrive. Even if I call Frontier Van lines, there is no one ready to take bottom line. The destination driver has my remaining 30% of goods but he is not delivering it. He says "I can't deliver it. You raise a claim". I really don't understand why these companies exists when these guys are not delivering customer goods after charging so much money. Very very unprofessional company. I advise NOT TO CONSIDER THIS unprofessional Moving company for your future moving needs. I am going to put this on my company's bulletin board too so people in my company are aware about these cheaters. I am very frustrated with the way these people handled my consignment. I am still waiting for 30% of my good after paying these cheaters full money.

I felt that I was deceived

I could have built my trip around whatever they honestly knew they could do. I built my trip around what they told me they could do. I literally drove to LA, flew back--a week later my furniture ended up being there. I had to employ somebody to retrieve it, otherwise I would have had to take a flight back.

Incredibly easy and care free

Stop shopping and go with Frontier Van Lines. I hope that I never have to move again as I find it incredibly stressful but thanks to the great people at Frontier my move to Nebraska was incredibly easy and care free. Our moving agent was especially helpful as well.

They're not very professional. They ...

When they said they were gonna come and load our stuff, they were actually one day late ... They did not get done until after like 6:00, which caused us to miss our flight ... They were very good with packing and wrapping everything up. It's just that when our stuff got here some stuff [was] damaged, some stuff [was] broken. I called customer service and I spoke with a girl ... She was supposed to get back to me about my missing and broken stuff. She never did. Every time I would call it would go to voicemail or nobody's taking my calls.

I was amazed at how fast and efficient they got it done. Everything went smoothly and my stuff arrived to my new home surprisingly fast. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to move. We just moved from Houston to Seattle. Cross country moves are normally incredibly stressful, but thanks to the great people at Frontier our move could not have been easier or better priced.

I want to share my personal experience with Frontier Van Lines. I got a bunch of calls from I don't know how many companies. I gathered quotes for days. I kept repeating my list over and over again. After that I read all the contracts they had sent me. Not only was "Frontier Van Lines" the only company that got my list right. They were also the only company to inform me about what was included in the price properly. I had a girl on the phone that took the time to make sure I knew exactly what I was going to be paying for. If she wouldn't have explained me all of it I would have gone with a cheaper company but I would have ended up paying more. So, eventually I booked with them and they did exactly what she said on the phone. No funky business. I was a bit wary about this whole moving service stuff. But it turned out fine. It was worth it.

Tipped them well

I chose Frontier Van Lines to move all my stuff more than 2000 miles for a teeny tiny price. They sure know how to be affordable. I got offers more than double than what they offered, I thought I was going nuts. I didn't know what to do. Until I received their quote, I couldn't believe how cheap it was. I couldn't find anything truly disturbing so I booked with Frontier Van Lines and they just moved my stuff like they said they would. Nothing went wrong. I tipped them well, because they deserved it!

Two thumbs up for Frontier Van Lines for making everything so easy for me. It didn't even cost me more than when I'd be going with Uhaul, I calculated it. I felt a bit scared handing my stuff to strangers, but when they came to my place the guys radiated trust, so that took my worries away. When they came to deliver it, the time and day they said they would I knew I had to leave this message online about them. Because I think it must be quite complicated for a big company a deal with so many addresses and people and yet they did such a good job. I think they deserve credit.

I decided to put my money on Frontier Van Lines. It turned out to be a good choice. I am finally done with the move happy it's all behind me. I can't stand being without my stuff in place. The company came early and that made it so much easier for me to start sorting everything. I labeled my boxes too, I read it somewhere online. That was a great tip. It made it a lot easier to unpack. Anyway, call Frontier Van Lines! They were the nicest and most informative company over the phone. I think that was what make me go with them. I spoke with a guy called Noah. He will give you good service to set up the contact.

Frontier saved my move! The first company I booked with decided at the last minute that they couldn't handle our move to Denver. We called Frontier Van Lines 2 days before we needed to move and they were there for us. Noah, the agent that we spoke to got us a better price than who we originally booked with too!
