Worst company ever!!!

Please do not use this terrible, scammers. They need to be ashamed of themselves. I am embarresed to say I used them, but once they have your money, you hear crickets from them. I am using my experience to help others not get trapped under their promises. My story is very complexed over many months of issues. it started off on the day they arrived to pack up my home. no notification that they were coming. I was not ready, so right off the bat I was under pressure to hurry up. All they had to do is pack the large items, I did all the rest. So when I finished packing my bathrooms and kitchen. I left to grab something to eat. They called me rushing me to get back becaise they were done. I got there and the manager was gone. I delt with a mover and he rushed me through the itemized paperwork. I did not get a chance to go to the basement so when my husband came in once they left, he saw a crap load of items missed. I call the movers and he said he can not come back. I called the general manager and she told me to take the items the next day to Chicago hud. She promised me that these item will get on my truck. We rented a truck, paid the gas, tolls and were told to send the bill and we will be reimbursed. Thats a lie. we moved and waited 3 months for our furniture. when it finally arrive our items were not on the truck as promised, They sent the truck with our 1000 lb toolbox and no way of getting it down. they expect us to pay for a flatbed tow truck to get it down. I filed a claim, They want to give us $350 for our missing items that clearly equaled more than $1000.. also the men hired to unload the truck pointed out we were grossly overcharged for the space we were charged. This whole prpcess was a tobocle. I highly DO NOT recommend this so called repudible moving co. Its a total disgrace.

Fraudulent Company

Emerald Vanlines,LLC is a broker who downloaded our job to Global Vanlines,LLC. Emerald gave us a quote for an estimated 2000 cubic feet,and then when Global Vanlines arrived to pick up our stuff,they promptly upcharged our move by over $7000. Movers arrived 4 hours later than their ETA. They refused to load the truck until we signed the new contract,held our belongings hostage for over 2 weeks while we attempted to negotiate to no avail. Our belongings arrived broken,hardware missing,Baby grand piano still sitting on its side because hardware is missing. Frame to the piano is cracked due to poor handling. Movers would not unload until paid in full with the upcharges in cash. Boxes were left in our garage belonging to someone else,multiple boxes belonging to us are missing. I would never use this company again and fear this is how they make their profits with everyone. Terrible experience!!!

Worst Experience Ever

I have moved many times in my life, but my move with Global Moving, LLC was by far THE WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Not only did it take an extraordinarily long time to get my items (6 full weeks), but they arrived on the last day before Global was contractually obligated to refund a portion of my costs. Not only was their customer service department completely unhelpful, they were unresponsive to phone calls, text messages and emails. I was lied to repeatedly - several times I was told that my items were being loaded on a truck, only to be told the same thing a week later. Despite pleading my case and offering to pay more money to get my items sooner, they offered no response. They were indifferent to the impact their delays had on me and my family. They simply DID NOT CARE! When they did finally arrive, they nickled and dimed me, charging me more because they had to walk an additional 5 feet from the truck to my garage. That’s not an exaggeration. RUN, DON’T WALK AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. My experience was single handedly not only the worst moving experience of my life, it was the WORST service experience of my life!!!

STAY AWAY POTENTIAL FRAUD

They under quote you on purpose pick up your items, LATE, then charge you thousands more after which you are tied to in order to get your items. This information was given to me by the third party vendor they sent to pick up my items. He literally said they under quote on purpose. My end price was 4-5 times more than the quote. ALSO they didn't take all my stuff, they left ALL my furniture because the third party vendor they sent only had a specific volume and SF of items to pick up. You are stuck. Its a scandal. When you call for help, no one will help you because customer service is in about 4 different states they literally tell you they are done for the day there on the east coast so you're just stuck. Horrible service; worst experience. I felt cheated and they charge you part by electronic check you cannot dispute and Venmo cash payment only you cannot dispute. Its horrible. It keeps getting worse

Our actual cost wound up being double the estimate. We've worked with moving companies before and only had positive experiences. Went with this company because they seemed very responsive and communication is important when moving. Unfortunately, they lose the ability to communicate once they have your money. The movers showed up hours after they said they would. Nobody mentioned they wouldn't accept a personal check so it was a nightmare trying to get the total sum in money orders on Sunday - totally avoidable had anyone mentioned this prior to Sunday afternoon of the move out. The movers speak in a different language so you have no idea what's being said, but a foreman is comparing what's being packing to the estimate and if he doesn't know what an item is (like a futon) he tries adding it as an additional cost. We were told our things would most likely arrive on the 18th or shortly after. So we rushed a cross-country drive to be here in time. If it's not about money, don't expect anyone at this company to know anything. We asked for updates on where our things were. We've always received this basic information from other movers, general estimates when things are moving and when they expect them to arrive. We received no such communication from this company. Total silence on the day we were told our things should arrive. After three days of calling we're finally told an email update was sent. We received no such magical email. Check your spam they keep saying rather than just sending again. Meanwhile we're sleeping on the floor, missing a relative's 86th birthday that we could've gone to if we'd received basic communication. That's what's frustrating. It wouldn't be this stressful if they could just bother to communicate crazy

Horrible scamming company

Hired this company they gave me a quote of 3,300 they got to my house loaded everything then when my entire home was packed they gave us a 8,000 fee on top of everything and if we didn't pay it they threatened to take all my items to California to their warehouse which is 8hours away from where I live . Christi Doug and brenden are horrible people .

And after the move, I Am glad I did. They were really efficient, and the entire move was much faster than I was expecting and was really stress-free for me. They were making sure that they won't cause any damage to my stuff, in the apartment and in the hallway, either.

Everything got moved with no damage. They were fast and fantastic and bulldozed through the moving, even with the three flights of stairs and an enormous refrigerator. I highly recommend their service!

Max and his team did a great job moving us from our apartment to a two-level townhouse! The three guys were smart and caring. They took apart and reassembled a complex bedroom set that has stumped others. Terrific people all around. Use them!

Great mover

This is our second time using Global Moving , and we were impressed by their professionalism, strength, and hard work. They arrived right on time, professionally wrapped all of our furniture, and very systematically loaded the truck from floor to ceiling, taking the time to tie down each row of items. I can't praise these guys enough. I would be recommending these guys to all!

They came 1 day to pack, and the next day they moved us out - we had 3 main guys on the crew, Kane . They were easy to work with, took exceptional care of our things and did their best to make sure nothing was left behind. I am so impressed with their professionalism. Highly recommend them!
