DO NOT USE THIS CORRUPT COMPANY!!!!! David made a huge and very insane mistake on my cost for the move. My original cost was $4000.00. They lied through the whole process. They said they were using a 32 foot truck and they used a 26 foot Penske truck which is 1700 cubic feet and my items filled only half of the truck. When he told me it was going to cost $9,000.00+ I was so shocked. He told me in my condo that my items took almost the whole truck space. I asked to see the truck and he looked at me with hesitation. He took me to the truck and my items took only half the truck actually even less than half. He then said my cost is 1750 x 5.62. I have no idea where he came up with this number. He also said that I had extra boxes that he used for the TV, mirrors, glass from the tables etc… which were already in the original cost. I have a 1 bedroom that is 755 sq feet and my small storage area had a few boxes and small mirror, weight bench, 1 luggage. I tried to contact the manager for over a week and a nasty woman named Lupita kept telling me he wasn’t in the office. The was only 1 man to unload my items I felt bad so my family and I helped him. The men that unloaded felt bad that I got ripped off.

Not Trustworthy

We hired Master Moving in Oxnard CA through a broker website. When we received the original quote, I contacted the company and explained that they had not quoted for enough space. The representative said that this was common and that the "guys would update the quote when they arrive and look at everything". When the guys arrived, I explained the situation and was told that they would "stage everything outside" and give us a quote. Of course, this meant that all of our belongings were removed from the home and placed on the street behind the truck, blocking all neighbors etc. I told them that I knew the price would be more, and that I would be able to play up to DOUBLE of their original quote, BUT NO MORE. After all of our belongings were outside they increased the quote from $1800 to about $9000. We told them that we could only pay about $4000 and they took items to equal that amount. We were forced to leave the remaining items. We put the remainder in storage and made a SECOND TRIP ACROSS COUNTRY WITH A RENTAL TRUCK 2 MONTHS LATER. When our items arrived EVERYTHING was completely crushed by thousands of pounds of other items that had shifted in the truck. We had a manifest showing 77 items, however, we only received about 60. When I made the second trip across country I rented a truck from Penske, which cost about $2200. My flight to CA was about $350 and gas was about $700. That's a total of $3350 and I COULD HAVE PUT ALL OF OUR BELONGINGS IN THAT 16 FOOT TRUCK. I have made several attempts to contact the company with absolutely NOT EVEN ONE RESPONSE. We will be filing insurance claims, Small-claims court filings and possible criminal litigation for missing items. BOTTOM LINE, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE DISHONEST AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
