My Pro Movers

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!

I was told my Michael at My Pro Movers (MPM), that all employees and drivers are direct employees of MPM, as well as them owning their own trucks. Upon my pickup on 12/21/20, I was shocked to learn that Marcos Murillo was an independent contractor and not a direct employee of MPM. Mr. Murillo informed me on pick up night, that I would receive an inventory list. I was informed that my belongings would be delivered by mid-January 2021. I waited, and waited, did not receive a phone to confirm that my belongings were in route to me. I spoke to Barbara multiple times, an alleged MPM employee that will sometimes answer emails and phone calls. Barbara informed me the second week of January that my belongings were “guaranteed” in route to me. I waited and waited, no phone call or anything 2 weeks later, so I contacted Barbara once again, after approximately 4-5 days, she contacted me stating that my things were still in a warehouse in California. UMMM, what happened to “guaranteed” that my things were in route to me. LIES. When the driver arrived at my location, 2 months after pick date, he was alone and he refused to drive up to my unit, thus, if I didn’t rent a Uhaul, then he was going to dump my belongings in the parking lot. I was left with no other choice but to rent a Uhaul (actually 2) and hired laborers to help him load my Uhaul as the MPM was ALONE to move ALL of my belongings. Needless to say, I was NEVER provided an inventory list. After a discussion about how may TV’s I had (2), he only delivered one, I’m also missing a nearly brand new matress, boxes, book shelf, large deck box and multiple items are broken. I even witnessed him destroying my belongings and captured him doing so at times. I have multiple witnesses that saw him destroy my belongings. The driver, his name is Farkhod Kasimov (it’s Orzu’s driver Silk Road). My other contact at MPM is Michael Jones. Barbara’s last name is unknown. My other contact at MPM is Medetbe “Max” Karimov. The CA secretary of State reflects: Eugeniya Ovseevich as the agent of service, however, other websites reflect her as the owner of MPM. The purpose of this review, is to depict another version of this company and the fact that they completely LIED to me, overcharged, destroyed and stole my belongings. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

very efficient and fast.

We have used My Pro Movers twice for our last 2 local moves. They were contracted by our mover when we moved from MA in MD. We really like them because they were very careful and fast so since then we chose them every time we needed help and would do so in the future. They are all very nice and professional and flexible to accommodate your needs. They show up on time, and they are very efficient and fast. I will definitively use this company again and also recommend them to anyone.

We had to move home and was very glad to use the services of My Pro Movers. The office staff - Daniel, treated us nice and the moving team - Daniel, Jose and co did a fantastic job. They came down on time the very day and waited for us to get ourselves ready. The move was smooth and hassle free. These guys are very professional and friendly. The company's fees is also quite reasonable and we couldn't be happier. Thanks again guys and hope to work with you in the future!

picked up and delivered on time

I found Smith from My Pro Movers to be sincere and honest from the very beginning. My belongings were picked up and delivered on time with no problem. Though I was nervous, as I heard some horror moving stories but in my move, everything went according to the plan. Their office returned all my calls promptly and updated me throughout the move. I highly recommend this company.

I had to go through a long distance moving procedure with you. You fixed the date and dispatched three guys on time on the move day. All of them were professional and active. Very Easy Moving

My Pro Movers Moving was absolutely fantastic. They were completely reliable, trustworthy and on-time for all pick-ups and drop-offs. The 4 gentlemen who helped with our move were efficient, hard-working and very easy to get along with... even when unanticipated challenges arose! This moving companies is one of the best I have dealt with yet. The prices are affordable and they are friendly yet professional. They were very cautious with my families belongings, even when it came to the animals items. I am very pleased with the work and would highly recommend them to others. They showed up ahead of schedule ready to work. Nothing at all was damaged in any way and for that I am truly pleased. Great job guys!!!

Fantastic Move from start to finish

This moving company was fantastic from start to finish. They were very careful with every piece of furniture as well as respectful. It was an exhausting move and day which continued well after midnight. The movers never complained or acted tired even though they must have been exhausted! They always asked before doing anything extra and let us know how much any additional packing or supplies would cost.

Our scheduled moving company wanted to move our pickup date to 5 days later than scheduled. We had to be out of our home in 2 days. Needless to say we were in a state of panic when My Pro Movers called us and rescued us. They called on a Thursday morning and were there the following day to pick us up and move us from Pennsylvania to Texas. Their staff was great. They contacted us several times to reassure us that they would be there as promised. We are very grateful to this caring company. We do not know what we would have done without them. perfect orderly manner

I am really shocked!! Why I didn’t discover My Pro Movers earlier!! They made my move just effortless! When I found them through this site I was not sure if they would click for us. But Smith was very detailed oriented for my Potomac to NYC move. He scoped my total belongings and gave an exact price. The boys were very fast while packing. I think they have plenty of experience in this area. They did everything properly. All boxes were leveled. They used small boxes for every unique item. I am really happy on their work. Unloading was also a magic, like a perfect orderly manner. They are highly recommended. I will definitely use them again.

smoothly and wonderfully well

We chose My Pro Movers after hearing scary moving stories about other very large national moving chains. Our move from Silver Spring to New York City went smoothly and wonderfully well. My pro movers packed up our delicate Grandfather Clock, artwork and other belongings with such great care and delivered them to our Manhattan apartment and storage unit without a hitch. Nothing was damaged or lost. My pro movers office staff were kind and helpful in providing our move estimate and patiently worked with us as our move expanded. I would highly recommend this moving company!

This guys did a fantastic job, and I am super Happy. Jose and his team are fantastic. From the start to finish I have noting to complain about. Daniel was friendly and very polite, customer service was excellent. Over all fantastic experience. On the date of the move I got the hardest working people ever. Very much helpful for clients

Sorry for being late review writing!! Actually I got the chance to move with My Pro Movers about a month ago. They have been smarter than any other moving companies. I found them though my neighbour. I asked Lisa, office staff, if they could make the move in short time and they arrived at my home very quickly, I mean the next day morning. It was so speedy and flawless process before the move. All of my furniture were wrapped by the staffs to save from any kind of scratching. Finally completed everything on time, finished all work and uploaded on a neat and clean truck and delivered. I was impressed! They did their business very nicely. Very much helpful for clients.

Friendly, helpful and careful

For the last two moves I have been using My Pro Movers. All the persons have been very professional and active. I learned many things from them. They showed punctuality in every moment of my moves. Quite economical than others. Friendly, helpful and careful. Always active. They packed our all stuffs. Took special steps to pack my aquarium! I had five goldfish and was worried if there was any problem but no, they efficiently handled them throughout the move. All the fishes were alive! And all of stuffs was delivered without any scratch and lose. It was a great relief.

Helpful and polite

I strongly recommend using My Pro Movers. I have used them 4 times, for both an instate and out of state move. Professional movers who are employees of the company. The movers I have had take great care of your items. They are helpful and polite. AND their estimate was right on. I've had companies provide an estimate to find out they low balled to get the job. David has provided estimates that turn out to be exact, he knows his business. I always think the highest compliment is a referral. I have referred them to several friends with the same great result.

Recommend these movers

They did an excellent job moving a one bedroom apartment from WDC to North Carolina. The initial contact fully explained at the details of moving (first time we have used movers) and assisted in providing boxes and packing instructions. Movers where professional and did an excellent job on both ends in packing, unpacing and protecting all the furniture. Excellent communication. The move went very well. I recommend these movers.

My Pro Movers just completed a local move in and for our office. Moved items from one floor to another from one building to another and all went great. Professional guys and courtesies staff. David and Daniel are super easy to work with.
