It was from a 2bedroom apt to a townhouse. I spoke to Eddie to set up my estimate and quote. He was nice enough even though he claimed for some reason he was unable to call or text my phone. I gave him the details of the stuff that was to be moved, as well as descriptions of the high rise apartment and the drop off location. He originally quoted me 3 hours but I asked him to go ahead and tack on 2 more hours because of the commute. It was from Wheaton to Germantown. So my quote was for 4 hours of labor plus 1 hour commute. The movers showed up on time but came with the wrong size truck. They also apparently were not given any details about the move. It took them all 4 hours just to load the truck. And they didnt even load everything! My fiance was working beside them so in reality it was 3 men moving a 2 bedroom 1000sqft apartment and it took alittle over 4 hours somehow. They were not working quickly or being gentle with our stuff. When I called the company to try and figure out how our estimate was so far off, I got a sales person named Violet who was nice but totally unhelpful. She told me a manager would contact me. I never received a call from anyone. When we called her back, she gave us a manager's direct number, Alex, and I tried calling but got no answer nor even a voicemail. At this point the movers finally showed up at the drop off location. It was nearing hour 6 at this point. They ended up literally dumping EVERYTHING in our front room and kitchen. They took our 2 mattresses upstairs but thats it. In the process of all of this, they broken SEVERAL pieces of furniture. They scuffed up our hardwood floors. I have pictures and video. And the worst part was that they didnt wear their masks properly. We are currently in 2 week quarantine because of that. When they were done, we told them we weren't going to pay more than the estimate. Between the broken furniture and how far off the estimate was, we were just done. They movers attempted to argue with us and were apparently able to get ahold of a manager themselves, but again, nobody contacted us. Before the move, we had actually scheduled a second move with them, to pick up some furniture the following weekend. We had already even put a deposit down. I tried emailing Violet ( who had set the second moves quote with me via email) but she ignored my 2 emails about cancelling the second move. Previously I had had zero issue getting replies back from her almost immediately. We finally called to cancel the second move and request our deposit back. She confirmed the cancellation but as of today, we still have not received our deposit back. As it stands, though we made our concerns

everything went great

It was a move, everything went great they did everything they were supposed to do.

It was a good experience.

It was good, we made a whole deal to ship the whole lot from here to there. And it was a good experience.
