Poor Service

delivery service is very bad . Delivery charges will be more than expected. unautorized people will be bought in to delivery they will stole tems. count no of items carefully at delivery. if lost never expect it will be delivered later. best to take full insurance for all the items. customer response is very bad they will never call back even though we left VM. Never go with spartan moving and storage you may end up with items get lost,damaged items.

Short notice move. They Made it ...

Wow! This company is AMAZING!! The family had to move on short notice due to my husbands relocation and we were very worried that nobody can do our move on such short notice. I called around and wasn't able to find anybody. Spartan called us and were very nice and able to make things happen! I figured that the price would be through the roof since it was a short notice roof, but we were given a very fair price which did NOT GO UP after our things were put into the truck! Everything was loaded with the utmost care and our property was delivered without any damage whatsoever! They showed up on time during move out and arrived on time during move in. We would use them again without a doubt!! THANKS GUYS!!!!

The pricing was doubled from the ...

The damage was fine there was nothing damaged but the pricing was double from what was quoted. and the delivery date was not on time it took 10 more days for them to deliver.

Honesty makes the difference.

Spartan Moving and Storage did an excellent job. We used them for our first long distance move. Ron did a great job of letting us know what to expect. We were given a time window on the move day and they showed up just when they said they would. The actual charge was the same as the estimate and it did not go up. To us, that makes them very honest. None of our stuff got broken either which shows they really cared! They moved us in and showed up on time that day too. Hopefully, we wont have to move again, but if we do, we will use Spartan Moving and Storage again.

Beware – NICK STEVENSON and SPARTANS

I am not a person who write reviews. But this is forcing me. I did not have a good experience and was cheated, they came very late than the window given for pick up and increased 1200 EXTRA than the initial estimate. No clarification was provided why this increase in charge, they just said their system says so. We had our flight Sunday morning and they came on Saturday night saying that I can agree or disagree to this amount. They will leave you with no option rather than accepting, because they know that you are left with no choice. Nick Stevenson came to my home and took the visual estimate and guaranteed that the price will not change if the items are not changed. He seemed to be nice and he was the only reason that I took this contract. He gave me everything in writing. But he is a FRAUD, if anyone is receiving quotes from him please stay away from him and this company. They will trick you and will not pick phone on the day of pick up. My sister had recently moved and had a bad experience with movers. So I was extra cautious in choosing movers and checked all reviews, but still this happened. I am doubting the good reviews may be paid reviews by the company only. My items are still not delivered and looks like I will have to file a case. I have all the emails and other details saved from this company who was making false promises – If anyone wants clarifications reach out to me at aryamoorthy@gmail.com . I just do not want another customer having the same issue and get cheated.

Don't use anyone else!

We just moved out here to California and couldnt be happier with this company. There are way too many choices online and picking a moving company can be very overwhelming. We chose Spartan Moving and Storage because they promised us a hassle free, honest and easy experience. They really delivered! ( No pun intended!) The crew showed up on time on moving day and the guys got right to work. They were very careful with all of our furniture and even removed the flat screen off the wall for me. Once everything was on the truck, we expected the price to go up, but that didnt happen. On move in day, the same level of care was used in loading in our items. Everyone was so honest and nice and the price was competitive. Thanks again for your honest work.

This is a five star company!

We moved my mother and father in law from IL to Texas. We used Spartan because they had the best price and were really nice on the phone. My wife collects crystal and we were very nervous that some of her pieces would be broken in the move. That didn't happen! The movers were very careful with everything while loading and unloading the truck. They were really good at moving large furniture too. They didn't bang the walls up in either house. They arrived on time at both locations and didn't keep us waiting around. We heard really bad stories of movers raising the price once your boxes are on the truck, but Spartan doesn't do that. We couldn't have been happier! Thanks!!

Highly Recommended

I want to leave a review for Spartan moving and Storage because they really did a wonderful job. I am a single mom and was relocated for work. I haven't moved as a single woman before and was stressing about it. I spoke with John and he assured me that they would take great care of me. He told me how the process would go and explained my quote to me. He was very patient and informative. When moving day came, the guys showed up and got right to work. The crew was very nice and they could tell I was nervous. They kept telling me everything was going to be ok! They were so nice it really helped me to stay calm. They were careful with my things and nothing broke. The price was awesome. They showed up on time and got my things to my new home exactly when they said they would. Looking back on it, they made it easy. I couldn't be happier with a mover.

This company really is great. I recently moved from Cali and didn't know who to use for my move. My husband and I decided on Spartan Moving and Storage and are glad we did. We worked with Reggie and he really knew his stuff. He was very polite and informative. He really is on top of his game. He quoted us a price that was 200 dollars better than the competition and actually moved an extra couple boxes for that price! They were clean and courteous and on time. Thanks guys!!

This is the best mover!

I'd like to start by saying thank you to John! He really made our move easy. We never moved long distance before and were very nervous with the process. John told us " you hire a mover so you don't have to work!" He was right! The day of the move was a breeze. The guys carefully wrapped everything and loaded it on the truck. They gave us a small window when they would arrive and showed up within it. They gave an accurate quote that didn't change. On move in day, they were on time again and unloaded our things with great care. We highly recommend using them!

Great moving company

Excellent movers! I was so happy with this company. I worked with this dude John and he was really cool. He knew all that there was to moving. Moving can be really stressful for most people, but they took a lot of the stress out of it. John guaranteed that the price they quoted me would be the price they charge. He lived up to his word! Packed all my things nicely and even loaded a bag of dog food into the car for me! On time too. They really went above and beyond!

AWESOME JOB GREAT COMPANY!!!!

I Have moves 15 times my lifetime being im in a family who all work for one of the military forces so i know moving! But i have to say this company Spartan Moving is one of the best experiences i have had Like a Guaranteed not to exceed price in writing!!! Guaranteed delivery date not just window's and included full replacement insurance!!! Just got my delivery on my back up delivery date and everything is in perfect condition except some scrapes on my Air compressor thats it great job!!!!

I did NOT have a good experience

In talking to the salesman I was guaranteed a specific pick up date and a specific drop off date. They came 10 days later. When they came with the truck they came with a box truck which was fine. But I told the salesman that my husband had things he needed to move his tools and equipment which was up to 250 pounds and they showed up with a truck that the lift did not work. So it took the two movers and my husband to get the equipment into the truck which didn't need to happen since all his equipment had wheels so it would have been easy with the lift. Then i get a call that they would have us pay 500 extra dollars for the bulkiness of the piece. which I had a problem with because each piece I told them was going to be 250 pounds or over. So I had a problem with that, we were able to negotiate down to half of that but still. When we arrived in Nashville we were experiencing the backlash of hurricane Irma. and when they arrived the mattresses were wrapped on the outside of the truck and they were soaked. They also lost a piece of my husbands saw which he cant use the saw without. So no it was not a good experience.

Very understanding

Spartan moving and storage is simply awesome!! I was pretty upset when my daughter had to move out of her apartment on a weekend where neither her mother nor I could help her. I was on such a short notice that we were very helpless in terms of any assistance. I quickly googled and called 3 different companies, and hired these guys even though they weren’t the cheapest, although I felt that they really cared. They took extra time to tell me about how careful they are with art and antiques and that moving precious items is one of their "specialties.", they assured me that all the paintings and antiques would be carefully packed. I was completely relieved and impressed to see that everything was in perfect condition. I couldn't have been happier! Well done!

They do wonders!

Thanks a lot Spartan moving and storage for completing my move within the scheduled time and for charging me a very moderate amount. But I would like to thank specially for the perfect move. I was never hoping to get such a brilliant service from any moving company. They were simply too good for my move. Nothing was missing, nothing is broken or damaged. It seemed like the entire move was tailor made for me. However, I just want to thank them again and I do suggest people to hire them because they can do wonders.

They are affordable

I got the number of Spartan moving and storage from a friend. He actually suggested me to use them for my move. However I called at their office and talked with their sales rep. He was very responsive and equally attentive. He understood my requirements perfectly and was able to offer me such a price which was more than reasonable. They were great at everything - packing, loading, unloading and delivery. Everything was exactly how I wanted it to be. Overall, it was a good move.

I booked Spartan moving and storage for my move. The moving team arrived on time on the moving day. They were effortlessly packing and moving the heavy belongings and they were so careful that it seemed as if it was their own move. These guys were great from the very beginning. I got a fast and detailed estimate. All belongings were handled respectfully and carefully. Their working policy influenced me a lot. My move was assigned with some punctual guys of Spartan moving and storage with a long truck. These guys were such a pleasure to work with that I cooked them lunch. The team I worked was really enthusiastic, energetic and courteous. I was bothering them a lot with some of my decorations, but they did a perfect job with wrapping them so nothing got damaged, nothing got broken. The guys were so careful with my things and they were super tolerating to my requests. I am extremely satisfied because I did not have to pay much at all; actually the price was rather low if you ask me. You should definitely hire Spartan moving and storage.
