From beginning to end, my experience with TSI was terrific. After receiving an online quote, I called to clarify the details. My account rep, Carol, was very helpful explaining how the entire process worked how the quote was derived. With this information I was able to adjust my inventory to fit my budget. She explained that I would be given a 5-day window for pick-up and a 10 to 15 day delivery window. When I explained that there would be specific dates I would not be able to accept delivery, she assured me they would try to accommodate my schedule. The dispatcher called me twice to discuss and confirm the dates. As it turned out, the dispatcher was able to arrange my move over a total of just 4 days – pickup on Sunday and delivery on Thursday. The mover kept in phone contact as promised and arrived at the appointed time. He assured me that my items would remain in place on his truck and he would be delivering them as well. The mover and his assistant were courteous and efficient, and all of my belongings arrived in perfect condition. I was fortunate to find a moving company that could accommodate my needs at an affordable price. Excellent communication and customer service.

Family Heirloom Shipment

This is the 2nd time I have used TSI to ship family heirlooms across the country. Professional, easy and friendly to work with setting up transporting a treasured family heirloom across the country. Great communication. Wrapped and packaged trunk with care and with many layers of padding. The recipient was pleased with the delivery, unpacking and placement of the trunk.

Reliable and Fast Service

Transit Systems was very fast on the move and for a good price. Paid for the economy service because white glove was too expensive—an interim price level would have been perfect.

Very happy with TSI for last minute ...

I was extremely happy with TSI from start to finish. First of all, they really came through for us when we needed a last minute move when no one else could help. Their quote was accurate, their charges were straight forward (and the total amount didn't change during the whole shipment - which I have heard happens sometimes with disreputable movers), their drivers and loaders were professional, and their communication was excellent. The one small damage we had (which I think is inevitable in a cross country move) was paid for right away. I was extremely pleased with the communication throughout the whole process. The representative stayed in touch with me and let me know where the truck was and exactly when it would arrive. The drivers and loaders (and unloaders) were some of the most professional I have met - very respectful of my things and my house. I'll definitely use TSI again and will recommend them to others.

Terrible

Awful experience. Our shipment arrive nearly a week late with damaged goods - no apology, only excuses. Hire the carrier directly - you'll be better off! We hired Transit Systems to provide curb-to-curb delivery. At the origin the truck driver arrived an hour after the window with a bad back - he carted a few loads to the tailgate and I carried the rest, I saw him use the liftgate once. At the destination we received all contact from the carrier themselves, not TS. The carrier representative seemed confused and was clearly ineffective - meanwhile TS did nothing to assist. We scheduled two deliveries and we had both deliveries cancelled without notice from the carrier or TS. On Monday we spoke with TS and received what was perhaps the worst customer service we've ever experienced - outlandishly rude, repeatedly shouting over our voices and questioning the truthfulness of our statements - we hired TS to complete a simple service, not to argue and make excuses for failures. We provided ample opportunity for TS to complete their responsibilities but instead we, the customers, we were left on our own to complete the job ourselves and fork over more cash to have the shipment completed by local movers.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE TIME

these people are not good and mean(they talk nice before picking you package)....i shipped my package from CA to OH, they use some other venders to ship your luggage, those venders feel like as if they are doing a free service(they broke a box while loading)........i got my package delayed 3 three times(when they picked my package they told me it would take 5-6 days and finally dropped my package after 15days) my boxes were broker.....my glassware were broker.......and they do a very reckless job.......NOT WORTH ALL THIS TROUBLE.....STILL WANT TO GO WITH THEM !!!!!!!!!

Antique Book Case Shipment

This was an antique book case so was very fragile. It had glass doors and a key. Everything arrived in perfect condition and all shelves and keys were accounted for !!! Could not have asked for better service. Thank You Transit Systems!

What a Great Service

I was thrilled to find this service and was equally satisfied with all communications I had with the initial party and with the delivery people. What a great service you offer and the cost was reasonable/fair. My items were wrapped very well and showed no signs of damage from their journey. I was treated respectfully by everyone involved and that means so much in this day when so many service personnel act like they can't be bothered by your concerns or needs.

Details Explained Well

All the details were explained to me and were also contained in the documents sent. When the mover picked up the piece, he patiently explained the process to me so the time frame was right on. He also told me he would let the storage facility know why he had wrapped the piece upside down and make sure they would keep shipping it to protect the legs.
