I've moved many times in my life, but have never encountered such a professional and caring moving company, they wrapped every single picture and piece of furniture. Took such a great care of each item they touched. The movers were very friendly and most important professional. I highly and strongly recommend them to anyone looking for movers. I know will use them again.

Horrible experience!

This was one of the most infuriating experiences I’ve ever had. Olympus is not only disorganized and poor at communicating with customers, they don’t even talk to each other. We were given a widow of 4-10 business days for our stuff to arrive and after 9 days with no update we called and were told it would be that weekend. THEN we get informed after everything should have arrived that it will be at the end of the next week. Despite our stuff arriving an entire week late, we were assured we would be “compensated”. Compensation was counted at $62 per business day, which conveniently took advantage of the three-day weekend to not even give us the full amount we were actually delayed. This amounted to about 3% of what we paid and was completely offset by the random fees they applied at the door. We were already charged substantially more than we were quoted, which I can understand since we do have a decent amount of stuff and no other mover did a much better job of quoting our cubic footage. But despite giving our updated address (on the phone and in writing!) four different times to the sales and admin teams, nobody informed the driver who called us the day before with the wrong address. When we corrected him, he informed us he would need to look at our street to make sure his truck would fit. He did not and showed up at another incorrect address before finally arriving a block from our apartment complaining that his truck was too large for our street and we would need to pay an additional $500 for a shuttle and wait an additional day. After explaining that our stuff was already a week late and that nobody had told us we’d need a shuttle, he dismissed it as a footnote in the contract and said that he would pull the massive truck up but that we would be responsible for any fines. Then with the truck there and movers waiting, he tells us we owe an additional $275 for the fact we were on the 2nd floor, which again, we had already told the company repeatedly. So even after getting a money order for our final delivery, a requirement we weren’t notified of until 8pm the night before, I had to run out to get cash to pay twice the amount we had even been discounted in the first place just to make sure our stuff was not held hostage. The actual movers were fine. The guys that came to Queens were helpful and the gentlemen that moved us outside the city were perfectly pleasant; but even with that said we still ended up with damage to a few pieces of furniture and had to throw out several broken glasses when we finally got to unpack. Working with Olympus was an infuriating process after we had signed the contract. You might be tempted to go with them as you’ll probably receive the best quote and friendly service from the initial sales rep, but you’ll almost certainly pay much more than that and have to play a guessing game to figure out when or if you’ll ever get your stuff. CARELESS

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. The men who packed up my items were great. I'm not complaining about them. What I am infuriated by is the team that moved my belonging across country and then dropped them into my storage space. I wasn't in town when they delivered to the space (had to train for my new job) so I was unable to watch them, which they clearly needed to have done. I had things moved out to my new place today and they ruined several MAJOR things. 1. My queen size, expensive mattress. They literally propped it up almost folded in half. The springs were affected by this. 2. My recliner chair. They broke a leg off of it. 3. My tv stand. Because they placed heavy boxes on top of it, they warped the wood and it is now bowed. I cannot use it anymore. 4. Boxes marked FRAGILE are smashed. I don't even want to open them. In addition, the foreman was SO rude to my 70 year old mother who was there to let them into my storage space that she had to go ask the storage facility manager to speak to them on her behalf. He treated the other mover like crap. OLYMPUS DOES NOT MOVE YOU. Your belongings are transferred to a 3rd party mover that moves your things with other moves across the country. They do not care about your things or what condition they arrive in as the 3rd party is basically off the hook. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.

This is a first rate moving company!

Moving is incredibly stressful and complicated and Olympus relieved more of that stress than I could have imagined. They were professional, honest, committed to the outstanding price quotes, and most importantly took care of our belongings. Leaving the moving and handling of your possessions to someone else is a nerve wracking affair but Olympus was outstanding. I never once felt like just another customer - I felt like their only customer! You will not be disappointed by hiring Olympus.

My Vegas Journey

From day one of my movers search Natalie and Chelsea made the moving process very easy. Moving all the way across country was challenging enough but when I chose Olympus Moving for my move it was a great decision. The movers were professional, wrapped and packed my items carefully and when my belongings got to Las Vegas all the way from NYC I was very excited. It was fine! Someone came out and looked at what I had, all the things, then they gave me an estimate and then they also sent me some moving boxes and supplies and then they came a week before and packed everything and it was fine. And then I got here and they came they brought the things in a timely manner. The price was comparative to some, but it was better than most of the other prices that was quoted.

I had a wonderful moving experience with Olympus. Crew member had good attitude, great energy, showed up on time, and very careful to all the stuff. Absolutely check out Olympus! They have positive reviews nearly on every site, really well deserved! The crew came in and rapidly started working. They were very well prepared to wrap and box whatever was in our house. As we were shifting on the 5th floor at new location, we thought they would ask for extra penny, but they didn’t even ask about it. Very generous and sweet. Best of all, everything reached safely :)

It was okay, but the price increased ...

Initially when they gave the quote and all it was fine...but at the door they increased the price by $500 which was shocking to me. Most of my stuff was taken good care of, except for one lamp, I don't know what happened but I was not able to assemble it. Overall it was okay.

Great help

True Friends team is absolutely amazing to work with. They took apart our furniture and moved them all into my new place. They were cable to complete their job in one day and helped us settle in to our new apartment. They had been careful with our valuables and they have been quick. Generally, they are pleasant folks. I don’t think others would be able to provide a better job. I’m definitely recommending this company.

All in all I can't really complain.

it was alright. I mean, the guy sold me some bogus insurance I didn't need, but besides that it was quick and relatively effortless on my part. So all in all I can't complain. Like three out of five stars.
